I attributed a quote in my May 2009 essay to Jim Collins, “If you don't like change, you'll hate being irrelevant.” However, upon checking with Mr. Collins' staff, I learned that he did not coin this phrase. They pointed me to a similar quotation by General Eric Shinseki: “If you don't like change, you're going to like irrelevance even less,” which appears in the Fast Company (publisher) book, The Rules of Business: 55 Essential Ideas to Help Smart People (and Organizations) Perform At Their Best, published in 2005. I apologize for this error.
